How We Can Help
As a part of the Virden/North Mac communities, we want to make sure that we are helping our neighbors however we can. On this page, you can learn about some of our ministries, as well as those offered by other organizations in the area.
Diaper Pantry

The diaper pantry is open for any family in the North Mac area in need. Just call the church phone (217) 965-3516 or send us a message on Facebook with the size needed and 2-3 times you would be available.
Please allow 24-28 hours for us to coordinate with you. While we try to reach every family as soon as possible, we may not always be immediately available.
Families may receive one package of diapers and wipes
per child per month.
Availability of items may vary, we try to always have:
- Diapers in newborn through pull-up sizes;
- Wipes
- General Hygiene Supplies
- Laundry Soap
- Toilet Paper
- Feminine Products
Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver supplies. If you are unable to or uncomfortable coming inside the church once you arrive, please let us know and we can bring the supplies out the front door for you.
When you arrive, please use the door on the front-left part of the church (the south door that faces church street - it has an Entrance sign on it!)
Once inside, use the steps to the right of the elevator door to go upstairs. The pastor's office is
the second door on the left through the double doors. (Or come to the top of the stairs and give a holler...most people do that!)
While we try to be available during business hours, it's best to contact us ahead of time to schedule an appointment time so we don't miss you when you arrive.

We are so honored that you would like to help support our cause! Here are some things we are accepting:
- New packages of diapers (size 5, 6, and 7 and pull-ups for boys or girls are our most popular!)
- New packages of baby wipes;
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Soap - Bar soap, body wash, or hand soap;
- Period products;
- Toothbrushes & Toothpaste;
- Laundry Detergent;
- Deodorant.
Things we do not accept:
- Used/Open Products
- Expired Products
- Clothing
- Furniture/Housewares
